Position Summary

To provide administrative and clerical support to staff in Facilities Operations and Development.

Essential Functions

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the staff in Facilities Operations and Development.
  • Review maintenance, repair and supply invoices at properties designated by the Divisional Director of Facilities Operations and Development, and determine what percentage of each invoice is a building expense and what percentage is a program expense based on criteria provided by staff.
  • Review New York City records for unpaid bills and violations at properties designated by the Divisional Director of Facilities Operations and Development.
  • Keep a log of all utility bills and New York City charges at properties designated by the Divisional
  • Director of Facilities Operations and Development, and on a monthly basis, transmit this information to designated members of the staff.
  • Keep a log of New York City and New York State registrations that are due annually, and inform staff two months before the next annual registration is due.
  • Establish and maintain computer files of information related to the above functions.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical tasks and duties that are assigned by a member of the staff in Facilities Operations and Development.

  • Or, an Associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and three (3) years of progressively responsible relevant experience.
  • Prior office/administration experience and strong organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.

TSINY is seeking Assistant Program Director for one of its Residential Programs in Queens, NY. 

Assistant Program Director: $66,205, Full-Time

Position Summary

Assists the Program Director with coordinating the day-to-day activities associated with managing the Crisis Respite Center (CRC). Will complete the Need Adapted Treatment Model (NATM) and Intentional Peer Support (IPS) trainings provided as part of the Parachute NYC grant and will practice according to the principles of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed service delivery, including NATM and IPS.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with NA-Mobile Crisis Teams and guests to develop recovery plans.
  • Conduct individual and group work with guests.
  • Introduce guests to the use of Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP).
  • Provide community outreach as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to guests’ treatment.
  • Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and documentation to ensure compliance with City and State regulations
  • Act as guest advocate to coordinate required services.
  • Assist guests with developing aftercare plans.
  • Intervene in guests’ crisis management.
  • Provide after-hours emergency coverage.
  • Provide clinical assessments.
  • Review and evaluate guests’ progress in relation to goals described in recovery plans.
  • Counsel and aid family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with and supporting the client.

Position Summary

Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of Agency and Agency affiliated real estate activity, including revenue, expenses, cash collection, reserve requirements and financial statement preparation of real estate entities.

Essential Functions

  • Real Estate & Agency Level Transaction Recording, Reporting, Monitoring and Budgeting
  • Monthly recording of journal entries into the general ledger for real estate entity activities (e.g., revenues, expenses, replacement reserve requirements).
  • Monitor cash collection and review reconciliation of real estate entity bank activity to the general ledger.

TSINY is looking for Case Managers for various of our mental health Residential programs located in Bronx NY.

Salary- $26 Per Hour, Full-Time

Valid Driver License Required. 

The Case Manager coordinates and monitors the assessment, treatment planning and care coordination for each resident on their caseload. The Case Manager serves as an advocate and intermediary for and on behalf of residents' rights. Case Management staff will work in partnership with our residents to establish goals, find appropriate supports and access independent community housing.

Essential Functions

  •      Assist residents in developing the skills, direction and motivation necessary to graduate to more independent housing settings.
  •      Assist residents to develop life skills in the direction of maximum autonomy.
  •      Assist residents to link up with community resources, such as employment, day programs, vocational rehabilitation services and health care services.
  •      Insure that residents receive periodic medical and dental attention.
  •      Maintain contact with: (1) TSINY Financial Specialist and follow up on related benefit matters, (2) all related treatment providers to insure integrated care between the residential program and
  • other services.
  •      Meet on a regular basis with interdisciplinary team for assessment and information on resident.
  •      Facilitate skill development classes.
  •      Develop person-centered Service Plans.
  •      Work with counselors to monitor the implementation of Service Plan goals and evaluate progress.
  •      Visit hospitalized clients.
  •      Monitor medication.
  •      Provide crisis management when required.
  •      Must have a valid NYS DL

Position Summary

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to installs, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities and equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processer to support the achievement of the sites= goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Meet with supervisor to plan daily schedule.
  • Clean all bathrooms.
  • Put sanitary papers and soaps in all bathrooms.
  • Check all exit doors to make sure they are secure.
  • Sweep/mop building floor.
  • Empty all garbage cans, take garbage out to dumpster.
  • Pick up residence mail at main office.
  • Empty ashtrays.
  • Sign out.
  • Put out extra sanitary papers on Friday in preparation for the weekend.

  • Minor repairs on sinks, showers, toilets, light fixtures, windows, doors and any aspect of building physical plant not requiring outside contractor
  • Keep up maintenance on residence vehicles.
  • Shovel snow.
  • Minor plastering and painting.
  • Assist, as needed, any other residential component with maintenance and driving needs.

We are currently looking for a Human Resources File Clerk to assist with our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Implementation located in Whitestone, NY.  This is a part-time on-site position.

Position Summary

While working under the direction of the Associate Director, Human Resources and the Human Resources Generalist you will be responsible for the following:

  • Scanning employee personnel files into our Human Resources SharePoint.
  • Sorting through scanned and paper employee files to upload the information into the appropriate online employee file folders in Bamboo HR (HRIS).
  • Conducting Audits for missing personnel documents needed such as Updated Certification, Agency signed policies, tax, I9 and Direct Deposit forms other documents as needed.
  • Creating and manage audit spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Following up with managers and employees to obtain any missing information needed to complete employee files.
  • Conduct employer support as needed to assist in the implementation process to ask questions, clarify procedures and/or get directions.
  • Other administrative duties pertaining to the HRIS implementation as needed.

  • Must have High School Diploma or higher
  • 1-2 years steady office and/or administrative experience
  • Prior Human Resources Experience a plus
  • Bamboo or other HRIS experience a plus

The Care Coordinator provides a variety of health home services to ensure that all of the individual's physical, mental, and health needs are addressed in a comprehensive manner. The Care Coordinator assists and provides clients with the access to services needed to assure that the client's well being.

Essential Functions

  • Provide outreach and engage services to individuals in BHCC.
  • Work with individuals in creating recipient-centered and strength-based plans of care.
  • Assist individuals in following their plan of care.
  • Help individuals in managing their plan of care by assessing appropriate services in the various systems of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate individuals' needs.
  • Coordinate and arrange for the provision of services to individuals.
  • Facilitate communication across health care providers.
  • Access resources which are essential to individuals and their recovery.
  • Promote evidence-based wellness and prevention by linking individuals with resources for smoking cessation, diabetes, asthma, hypertension, self-help recovery resources and other services based on their individualized needs and preferences.
  • Participate in all phases of care transition, including discharge planning and follow-up to assure that hospitalized individuals received follow-up care and services and re-engagement of those who have become lost to care.
  • Utilize peer support, support groups and self-care programs to increase individuals' and collaterals' knowledge about the individuals' diseases and disabilities.
  • Refer individuals to community and social support services.
  • Carry out all AOT court-mandated and voluntary agreement responsibilities. Complete all assessments and other required documentation in a timely manner.

Salary corresponds to education and experience:

Master's degree in a Health and Human Services area and two years' experience providing direct care services OR a Bachelor's degree and five years providing direct care services OR exemplary performance as a Care Coordinator I or Peer Care Coordinator.
